AVCM diploma in Composition

For the fourth time, I have been awarded an Associateship. This time by obtaining an Associate diploma in Composition at the Victoria College of Music and Drama, London, for which I recently submitted a portfolio with 2 of my works.

Throughout the Summer I wrote several compositions, 2 of which to be part of a portfolio for an examination in Composition at Victoria College of Music and Drama, London. In July/August I wrote the first piece, in September the second piece was written and I submitted the portfolio in November. Today I received the good news that I passed the exam and have been awarded the Associate diploma of Victoria College of Music and Drama, London in Composition.

Some very constructive feedback in the exam-report gives me a chance to improve my writing skills and better myself as a composer and I look forward taking the next steps of the journey that lies ahead. The submitted portfolio included the following works from my hand:

1. Theme and Variations in F minor, Opus 19 - written in July/August for Organ
2. Invention, Opus 21 - Written in September for Harpsichord or Piano

The submitted portfolio also included programme notes about and recordings of the written works.
