Over the last few years, I composed quite a few works for Organ, and with this new EP series 'Egbert Juffer: 5 Works for Organ', I hope to showcase my compositions and arrangements for Organ, one of the instruments I particularly like to write new music for. Today is Volume 1 being released.
The EP 'Egbert Juffer: 5 Works for Organ - Volume 1' is as of today available on all major streaming platforms, including Spotify and YouTube. The programme includes the following 5 works:
- Preludium 1, Opus 15 No. 1 (written in 2019)
- Preludium 2, Opus 15 No. 2 (written in 2021)
- Passacaglia in G minor, Opus 17 (written in 2021/2022)
- Theme and Variations in F minor, Opus 19 (written in 2022)
- Humoresque, Opus 20, (written in 2022)
The recordings use sample-sets from Organs all over the world, the acoustics of the Saint Sylvain Cathedral, and are mastered by Jochem Geene.
The EP will soon also be available for purchase on this website, with alongside the high-quality recordings an extensive booklet with information about the written compositions, registrations used in the recordings etc.
